“Troy” is a tremendously gifted and confident athlete who has been training with us since 2007.  He accompanied Rebecca J. Cornetta to Aiken, SC, this winter to finesse his eventing education. Versatile Troy will continue his training at Black Horse Hills, with professionals and amateurs on deck, at upcoming combined tests, events and dressage shows.

Affectionately called, “Pop,” this beautifully-built gelding possesses all you could want in an athletic partner: natural ability, a steadfast and confident nature, a desire to please, movement to die for, plus an innate intelligence which allows him to quickly learn and retain his lessons.  Pop won first place at his first combined test, and he and Mark are looking forward to more combined tests and eventing in the near future.

After a winning career on the racetrack, “Wild Trip” was retrained by Black Horse Hills as an Event horse extraordinaire. This athletic boy competed through Preliminary Level before being purchased by his new owner. The duo is looking forward to a successful Eventing career.

“Melody” raced until age three and then began a new, multitalented career in Hunters, Dressage and Eventing. She competed through Training Level, at which time she caught Catie’s eye. The pairing is a success - they recently won Training Level at Fair Hill International.

Kiss the Yodeler – Sold to Susan Runco

This handsome boy raced until age three. During his retraining at Black Horse Hills, he demonstrated a knack for jumping—cleanly, carefully and beautifully. This talent was nurtured, and now “Under the Radar” and Susan are successfully showing in the Hunter ring.

Busy Timmy – Sold to Amy Godusky

Foaled 1998, 15.3 H, Bay, Connemara/TB Cross, Gelding
A proven winner in both Jumpers and Eventing, talented “Timmy” has the conformation and movement that judges look for. This quiet gentleman won his Beginner Novice division at Plantation Field Horse Trials before being purchased by Amy.  The two continue to compete in Eventing.
